Everything’s paranormal?
In the recent weeks of looking over ‘false anomalies’, or ‘Common Misconceptions’ there is a correlation of people eagerly ready to jump to conclusion in attempt (intentional and unintentional) making everything paranormal in the field. This comes from the latest claim that a person has made of a paranormal attack while sleeping; in fact the area that was affected was never medically evaluated to rule out other possibilities such as a skin rash, bug bite or anything medically explainable (Medical is a fact based science). These types of situations have become more common of uneducated conclusions that people are willing to make in the paranormal field. The individual’s conclusion is affected through personal bias, belief, and another factor of “Paranormal Psychosis” a condition the investigators or researchers start to create a paranormal reality that doesn’t exist, and it can affect others (Research contamination and Mass Delirium).
Jumping to conclusion & education
Genuinely the real problem is that these uneducated individuals are eager to jump the gun and call everything paranormal (99%). This includes making natural occurrences, known false anomalies and misconceptions into a paranormal experience in an effort intentionally or un-intentionally gain popularity or riches. The investigators or researchers (1%) with the proper conductive reasoning are affected by these individuals that are willing to take misconceptions, or false anomalies such as blurry picture to catalog as a paranormal experience.
Education
The problem with the field is there is no certification process or education to make sure that the investigators or researchers are qualified to handle the research or evidence properly. Any individual can just make a claim to be a paranormal researcher or investigator without actually going through any form of educational programs, or applying basic school education to the field. These factors are the reason I have personally started educating individuals on basic education, and advanced education to help better the field.
