Underworld Cerberus is one of the newest "Theros" spoilers revealed today Aug. 31, 2013 during PAX Prime, from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming expert "Magic: The Gathering" expansion set "Theros." Your opponent will need to have at least three defenders to block this mythic rare creature.
Underworld Cerberus - 3BR
Creature - Hound (Mythic Rare)
Underworld Cerberus can't be blocked except by three or more creatures.
Cards in graveyards can't be the targets of spells or abilities.
When Underworld Cerberus dies, exile it and each player returns all creature cards from his or her graveyard to his or her hand.
Underworld Cerberus is a large cost efficient threat that's extremely hard for your adversary to block. Unfortunately you won't be able to Deathrite Shaman to power this hell hound out onto the battlefield early. In fact, Underworld Cerberus prevents all cards in graveyards from being targeted at all. When your rival finally manages to destroy Underworld Cerberus, they'll have to deal with an army of creatures coming back from your graveyard.
Underworld Cerberus leans naturally into fast unleash Rakdos decks, rounding off the top of their mana curve. By the time you're able to cast it, you most likely won't have a hand. One way of making the "dies" ability of Underworld Cerberus asymetrical is to be playing a deck with almost all creatures. That way when you exile Underworld Cerberus you'll be ahead.
How will you use Underworld Cerberus?
