According to a Feb. 11, New York Daily News report, Carrie Underwood is addressing rumors that she is not a fan of fellow country music superstar Taylor Swift because she “hates her rudeness.” “Taylor feels Carrie is always rude to her, so she steers clear of her,” a source recently told Us Weekly.
According to Underwood, the rumors have no merit. When asked by Gayle King for a “CBS This Morning” interview set to air on Feb. 13 if there’s a feud between the two, Underwood replied, “No, not that I know of at least.” She also revealed that her favorite Swift song is the latest single. “I really like’ I Knew You Were Trouble.’ It sounded a lot different for her. I liked the branching out, trying some different sounds.”
Both Swift and Underwood are focusing on their work and ignoring any rumors of an alleged feud. Swift rocked the stage at the Grammy Awards with her opening act and Underwood wowed the crowd with a dress that lit up with images during her performance set of “Blown Away” and “Two Black Cadillacs.”
“They can do a lot of amazing things with projectors these days,” Underwood told the Associated Press. “We had a dress especially made. I said I should take that home and we can watch movies on it.”
