Undertaker and WrestleMania rumors persist

When the lights dim and the bell tolls the arena becomes electrified as the appearance of The Undertaker looms. Over the last 23 years The Undertaker has been a staple for the WWE and his streak of being undefeated at WrestleMania is perhaps one of the biggest accomplishments of his career. The career of The Undertaker seems to be on a course for permanent retirement, his body has broken down over the years and even after several surgeries and time away from the ring, there just is not much left.

The appearance of The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXIX has been questionable for months with many speculating that he may not be able to appear due to injury. The booking plan was for CM Punk to challenge The Undertaker while John Cena tackles The Rock and Brock Lesnar squares off against Triple H once again. The only person who will decide whether The Undertaker will wrestle is Mark Callous and that decision may come tonight on RAW.

The Undertaker was spotted at a Nashville Predators hockey game in Nashville on Sunday and it is thought he will be making an appearance on RAW tonight when it airs from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Many believe that The Undertaker will announce that he will be at WrestleMania and this will be the first salvo fired to build the match with CM Punk.

If injury were to keep The Undertaker off the WrestleMania show, which many highly doubt, then the line-up would have to be adjusted and it would give the show a different feel. Some scenarios include Punk v. Ryback or being part of a three-way match with Cena and Rock. The Undertaker not being on WrestleMania would be the end of an era and for many, WrestleMania would never be the same.
