Channeling Demystified

“Channeling” is a generic term used to describe the process of communicating with Spirit. In this class, instructors Cindy Musil, Kent Lehman, and Maitland will explain, lead an exercise, and demonstrate specific types of channeling. Class attendees will learn to:
Describe three types of channeling and differentiate between characteristics that are common and unique to each channeling type. Experience Spirit communication using “automatic writing” and discuss techniques to ensure an effective automatic writing session. Explain the components of a trance channeling session and interact with Maitland through Kent as her channel.
The concept of channeling is simple. It is not “magical”. It takes practice and dedication to effectively channel. However, you do not have to do a lot of mystical manipulations to make it happen. Through a psychic medium, Kent was introduced to a spirit named Maitland. Maitland has worked with the couple to create the course she titled, “Channeling: Demystifying this Natural Occurrence”, shortened to “Channeling Demystified”. This course is built on Kent’s process of learning to trance channel Maitland. In this class, the couple will share their experiences, including techniques learned along the way.
Kent Lehman and Cindy Musil are psychic mediums and together have created Eclectic Horizons. The couple created the band Eclectic Verve and Something on the Way Publishing, releasing their debut music CD in June 2011. The band has also released a video for the song Kent wrote for his cat Sting of 19 1/2 years, that died in 2010. Writing that song was integral to Kent healing from the loss of his pet. A circuitous path that began when Kent was trying to create a name for the couple’s band, led him to a blog written by a grieving mother, called “Channeling Erik”. Through this blog, the couple was introduced to a new concept—communication with dead loved ones.
As the couple developed psychically and began communicating with Spirit, their grief over the loss of loved ones was healed because these souls were no longer “dead to them”. The couple shares the goal of being conduits for clients to receive the guidance that they seek from Spirit as well as pass on messages that spirit guides and loved ones who have passed want to give. Kent and Cindy believe that by communicating with Spirit, their perspective regarding the continuity of life is broadened. Both Kent and Cindy have been certificated through the The Aspen Program for Psychic Development. The couple has also received guidance from their own spirit guides directly and during sessions with mediums regarding developing their abilities.
