On Thursday, February 02, 2012, agents with the Polk County Police Department’s Narcotics Enforcement Team conducted an undercover operation into the illegal distribution of Hydrocodone, a Schedule III narcotic.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of two individuals being charged with distribution of the illegal narcotic and one individual arrested for attempting to purchase the drug.
- Charles Everett Smith; age 64; of Fourth Street in Cedartown was charged with felony distribution of hydrocodone. Smith was released on February 04, 2012 after bonding out on a $20100 property bond.
- James Calvin Headrick Jr.; age 72; of Fourth Street in Cedartown was charged with distribution of hydrocodone. Headrick was released the same day after bonding out on an $1100 bond.
- Kenneth Lloyd Stubbs; age 45, of Cedartown was charged with felony criminal attempt to purchase hydrocodone. Stubbs was released on February 03, 2012 after bonding out on an $1100 property bond.
