With a crushing 70-44 defeat over Homestead Saturday, the Germantown boys basketball team (24-0) is garnering some national attention.
Germantown is ranked No. 23 in the USA Today Top 25 and even higher in other polls.
The team moved up in the rankings on maxpreps.com, a CBSSports preps page from No. 3 to No. 2 behind top ranked Lone Peak (22-1). Lone Peak is located in Highland, Utah.
A perfect 14-0 record in conference play and exceptional play by senior center Luke Fischer has Germantown headed for a postseason push.
Germantown will face Arrowhead at 7 p.m. Thursday in a game played at Waukesha West High School.
