The development team for one of the new “Star Wars” video games will be getting a new addition. According to a report from Push Square on April 12, Todd Stashwick will be joining Amy Hennig on the upcoming project. The pair previously worked together on the tentatively-titled PS4 video game, “Uncharted 4.”
Todd Stashwick is an actor who worked on several movies and television shows in the past. Among his most notable works include Mr. Tate in “Teen Wolf” and Eli in “Heroes.” Before heading into the gaming industry, he also provided some voice work for several animated features.
For “Uncharted 4,” he can be heard narrating the debut teaser trailer for the PS4 exclusive video game. Todd Stashwick also took part in the motion-capture sessions in the potential sequel. His work appears to be done as he is moving on to work on a new “Star Wars” video game with Amy Hennig, the former creative director behind the fourth main installment of the “Uncharted” series.
The departure of Amy Hennig was controversial as she left during the middle of development for “Uncharted 4.” IGN reported that she may have been forced to leave by Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann, both of which may have taking over the game’s production. Sony Computer Entertainment has quickly denied these claims, however.
The publisher also stated that the development of “Uncharted 4” won’t be affected by the changes at the top positions. However, Sony Computer Entertainment has kept quiet on the upcoming title ever since it was announced late last year. As a result, the release date window for the software product remains a mystery to outsiders.
Naughty Dog is currently busy with porting “The Last of Us” to the PS4. The remastered version, which is shipping later this summer, is going to feature several gameplay and graphics enhancements.
