Once indoors, the Seahawks made short work of the Monarchs by earning the doubles point with wins in the #1 and #2 doubles, 8-4 and 8-3, respectively.

UNCW would garner the four points needed for a team win with easy victories on Singles Courts 2, 3, 5 and 6.

Carlos Lopez-Villa, ranked in the top 100 in the collegiate ranks, provided ODU with their only point impressively bulldozing Rafael Aita 6-1, 6-1. Zvonimir “Z” Podvinski lost in a third set tiebreaker in the last remaining match.

Old Dominion dropped to 10-7 with four matches remaining before conference tournament play. UNCW entered the match ranked 47th in the rankings and is one of the favorites to capture the Colonial Athletic Association title.
