Amid rumors of a third installment of Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill series, Uma Thurman has landed a role in The Weinstein Co. movie Adam Jones, originally entitled Chef, starring Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller.
Thurman, 44, recently auctioned off a private screening of Pulp Fiction in honor of the cult classic's 20th anniversary, which went for a reported 40k to the highest bidder. A mom of three, she is donating the proceeds to the Room to Grow organization, a charity that benefits babies born in poverty.
In addition to Mia Wallace in Pulp Fiction and the Bride/Beatrix Kiddo of Kill Bill, 6-foot tall Uma Thurman has portrayed many iconic female roles since the 1990s, including Poison Ivy in Batman and Robin, G-Girl in My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Medusa in The Lightning Thief, and Emma Peel in the 1998 version of the Avengers.
Thurman is also rumored to be spending quality time with good friend Quentin Tarantino, who announced during an appearance last weekend at Comic Con that The Weinstein Co. also has an interest in the limited release of Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, a fruition which film fans have been eagerly awaiting to see for more than a decade.
Whether fact or fiction, Uma Thurman fans can be sure that they haven't seen the last of the Bride in one way or another, as IMDB currently reflects a status of 'announced' for the film title Kill Bill Vol. 3 aka Kill Beatrix. Meanwhile, Adam Jones has wrapped filming at its New Orleans set, and is currently moving to a London location. No details on a release date have been given.
