American actress Uma Thurman brandished a samurai sword “Kill Bill” style as she joined Chinese heartthrobs Terence Yin and Godfrey Gao in Hong Kong attending the Moet & Chandon and FilmAid Asia Power of Film Gala at Clear Water Bay Film Studios on March 16, 2013 in Hong Kong, Hong Kong.
The annual event celebrates the use of film and media to transcend language and literacy, bringing life-saving information, psychological relief, and much-needed hope to refugees and global communities in need.
Asia Power of Film Gala was held in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and other global aid organizations such as FilmAid, disseminating information, training, and empowerment programs to over two million people worldwide.
Uma Thurman looked stunning in a one-shoulder deep red silk satin dress with plenty of flattering rouching cascading from the hip. She accessorized with a small black clutch and lots of jewelry including a thick gold cuff and gem-encrusted bracelet.
Keeping her hair elegantly slicked back in a bun, the spiraling hoop earrings took center-stage.
It is rumored that Uma Thurman will be reuniting with Director Quentin Tarantino to begin production of the much-anticipated sequel, “Kill Bill: Vol. 3.” The film will also star Daryl Hannah, Julie Dreyful and Ambrosia Kelley.
Rumor has it that the plot will have Vernita Green’s daughter Nikki Bell seeking revenge on the Bride, according to MovieWeb.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Mostra de Valencia film festival, Daryl Hannah revealed some interesting tidbits about the upcoming sequel, saying that Tarantino wanted to wait until the Bride’s daughter was old enough to be the avenger…
Also attending the star-studded gala today in style were Hong Kong actor Donnie Yin and wife model Cissy Wang, English singer Sophie Ellis Bextor, South Korean actress Kim Ko-Eun and Chinese actress Xu Jingley.
