The WWE superstar collapsed outside his Arizona hotel on Tuesday night while walking with his wife to their car. The Ultimate Warrior was just inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame three days ago, where his speech included a memorable loving tribute to his family, according to Fox Sports News on April 9.

In 1993 James Brian Hellwig legally changed his name to "Warrior." The Ultimate Warrior was walking with his wife to their car when he just collapsed. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Ultimate Warrior is one of the most famous personalities to come out of the WWE, he was right up there with Hulk Hogan when it comes to popularity in his heyday. He made his first appearance on WWE’s “Raw” on Monday night for the first time since 1996.

After joining the WWE in 1987, he defeated Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania VI in Toronto’s Skydome. This is considered by many WWE fans as the “greatest wrestling matches of all times,” reports Fox Sports.

The wrestling world is in shock and many of the famous names through the history of WWE took to the social networks to express their sadness. This includes his old rival, but good buddy, Hulk Hogan. Hogan simply writes:

“RIP WARRIOR. only love. HH”

The Warrior's cause of death is unknown at this time, it was a death that was totally unexpected, as there have been no reports of an illness. The wrestler gave a moving tribute to his young children during his speech for his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.

He addressed his two young daughters telling him that being their father was the most important job he's had in his entire life. He made it very clear how much he loved his kids in this moving tribute from a father to his girls.

According to, the "Warrior said some very touching things to his family" during his WWE induction speech. This will now be something his children will always have in their hearts to remember him by and they will always know the love their dad had for them.

It was ironic that he paid such a heart felt tribute to his family only days before he dies. He was able to say the things that often go unsaid between family members. These words turn out to be quite the gift to his family today.
