Ultimate Warrior clutched chest before collapsing: No drugs, alcohol in system

Late yesterday evening, a WWE legend passed away as the Ultimate Warrior died at the age of 54. Not much has been revealed as to the cause of the Ultimate Warrior's death, but TMZ did report a bit more information on April 9, 2014, and it was confirmed that he clutched his chest before collapsing to the ground.

Witness and law enforcement have confirmed that the Ultimate Warrior "clutched his chest" just moments before collapsing to the ground at the Gainey Suites Hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona on Tuesday. He was walking to the car with his wife at the time.

The Warrior - real name James Hellwig - was said to have never recovered and was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police report information is starting to be released and it reads that the Warrior suffered a "catastrophic medical event." It has also been revealed that there were no signs of drugs or alcohol in his system and do not appear to be a factor in his death.

The Maricopa County Medical Examiner has said an autopsy of the Ultimate Warrior is scheduled for Thursday, and an investigation is now ongoing.

All signs are pointing to the Ultimate Warrior having died of a heart attack, but that has yet to be officially confirmed.
