Ultimate Warrior: Cause of death revealed as fatal heart attack

One week after the passing of WWE legend, the Ultimate Warrior; his cause of death has finally been revealed. TMZ reported on April 14, 2014, that the medical examiner who performed the autopsy has said the Ultimate Warrior died of a fatal heart attack due to cardiovascular disease.

The 54-year-old wrestler's given name is James Hellwig, but he did legally change it to just Warrior.

On April 8, 2014, Warrior was walking out a hotel and to a car with his wife when he clutched his chest and collapsed to the ground. Medical officials attended to Warrior as he was on the ground and they got him to a nearby hospital, where he was soon pronounced dead.

Last weekend, the Ultimate Warrior appeared at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, "WrestleMania XXX," and "Monday Night Raw."

He was said to be in good spirits by numerous wrestlers that were in attendance at the different events last weekend. Some had said that he looked "a little off" and not like he was in the best of health. Upon leaving New Orleans early on Tuesday, Warrior was said to look alright.

Less than 24 hours, he sadly had passed away.

The medical examiner said that neither drugs nor alcohol were directly involved in his death in any way.
