Ultimate Miami Weekend continues with Ultimate Bartender & Dessert challenges

With all the beautiful people and gorgeous nightlife that Miami has to offer, finding a drink is never a difficult feat. But, finding the best drink, the ultimate drink, now that might be a tough one. Luckily Ultimate Miami has assembled the best of the best that this beautiful city has to offer in a bartender competition.

These top bartenders will go head to head in the Ultimate Miami Bartender competition that will leave one drink standing, and one bartender, $5,000 richer.

The Ultimate Miami Bartender finalists are:

Courtney Lasch – Town Kitchen & Bar
Alexander Nayda – The Electric Pickle Company
Lazaro Leon – The Gardens Tavern Bar
Edwin Paz – The Lord Balfour Hotel
Ultimate Miami Dessert finalists include:
Gilbert Arriaza – Gilbert’s Bakery
John Martinez – Fontainebleau Hotel
Esty Frometa – Nordstrom Café Bistro
Sharnika Williams – Ritz Carlton Hotel (Key Biscayne)
Shelbey Ganzel – PAC Pastries
Jessica Williamson – Dirty Martini
Marla Leon – Brio Tuscan Grille
Michael Dean Wilson – Stirling Food Group

As if this wasn't the perfect way to spend your Friday the 13th, Miami's top Pastry Chefs will also go head to head in the Ultimate Miami Dessert competition, leaving one sweet loving foodie with a $5,000 check, and well, bragging rights.

Did I mention that attendees get to taste and sample these ultimate drinks and desserts? Who else did you think was going to pick the winners? General admission tickets for Ultimate Miami Bartender & Dessert include eight drink samples and eight dessert samples.

Plus, rap recording artists Rob Base, the man who brought you "It Takes Two," Debbie Deb, with her favorites "Lookout Weekend" and "When I Hear Music," and Lisette Melendez with her hit "Together Forever," will perform live during the competitions.

$40 at the door. Must be 21 and older to attend.
