Ukraine artist, Viria13 's drawing of 5 iconic Disney Princesses in modern day hipster fashion has sparked the interest of many American fashionistas on DeviantArt.com.
"At first I was going to draw hipster princesses, but I am not quite sure if I know the right meaning of 'hipster' so, just fashion," Vira13 shared publicly on her gallery at http://viria13.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d4n854g.
Her rendering includes Cinderella, Snow White, Pochontas, Ariel and Tiana, minus their traditional princess gowns. These hip princesses exchange their tiaras for shorts, leggings, jeans, skirts, vests and accessories in signature Disney bright colors.
" I chose their daily outfits as colour base, because they are way more fun. And I didn't really care about princesses actual features," said Viria13.
The artist's everyday approach has been embraced worldwide, but has drawn the most comments from American fashionistas.
In regards to Princess Ariel's look "The colors are right and she's got a hint of her 80's-era style," said Lusc-Fire of the United States.
As for the future for Viria13's hipster princess designs, we can expect more in the future. "I hope I will do the second part of princesses...just don't let the laziness get over me!"
