The wait is over for millions of people across the world who just can't get enough of the royal baby.
The first official images of Prince George were released Tuesday by Kensington Palace.
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen to release two family photographs with their son, Prince George," Kensington Palace said in a statement.
"The photographs were taken by Mr. Michael Middleton in early August in the garden of the Middleton family home in Bucklebury, Berkshire," the statement said.
The two photos, shot by Michael Middleton, Catherine's father, show the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, their newborn son, Prince George, and a couple of four-legged friends.
One portrait shows the gorgeous Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, beaming while holding the swaddled George, who is third in line to the British throne after grandfather Prince Charles and father Prince William. A smiling Prince Williams sits beside them.
The two canines in the photo are Tilly the retriever on the left, a Middleton family pet, and Lupo, the couple's cocker spaniel on the right.
The baby boy was born at 4:24 p.m. on July 23, weighing 8 pounds, 6 ounces, and later named George Alexander Louis of Cambridge.
In an interview with CNN on July 22, proud father Prince Williams gave a little insight on how he's doing as a father:
He's a little bit of a rascal, I'll put it that way. He either reminds me of my brother or me when I was younger, I'm not sure, but he's doing very well at the moment.
