Ugly flash mob empties La. mall, fight panics shoppers (Photos)

Saturday, an ugly flash mob emptied a shopping Mall in East Baton Rouge. After hundreds responded to a social media post, things went badly, fast. The Mall of Louisiana fight from the scheduled flash mob allegedly involved guns. Luckily, no one was injured from the fight.

In its Jan. 5 report, NBC33TV noted that at least 200 juveniles were in the food court when the ugly flash mob emptied the mall.

Witnesses said a huge fight broke out, causing panicky shoppers to run for exits and cover. While there was mention of at least one gun, police said no shots were fired.

Police officers took control of the situation, shut down the shopping mall as a precaution. Additionally, authorities managed to round up scores of unchaperoned juveniles at a central location for parents to pick them up.

A woman, who asked not to be identified said the ugly flash mob emptied the mall when the fight broke out and chaos forced people to take cover.

She personally witnessed people running over tables and knocking over chairs on their way out of the area where the fight took place.

At this time, there is no explanation why the Mall of Louisiana fight broke out. However, when flash mobs take place, ugly things tend to happen especially in the wake of recent mass shootings.
