Alright, UGA fans: The Lady Diamond Dogs—who didn’t have a chance against Washington and their ace pitcher Danielle Lawrie—just forced a second game with Washington tonight, 9-8. The winner of tonight’s game will be in the NCAA Women’s College World Series Championship Series starting tomorrow, v. the winner of Florida and Alabama, which is just getting started.
Because of this being such a long game—two extra innings, and just LONG, going over four hours—Florida v. Alabama is just getting started. So, the exact first pitch time for the final UGA v. Washington match up is wobbly. It will follow Florida v. Alabama, and was originally scheduled for 7:00 p.m. But, the ladies will most likely take the field somewhere between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m.
Fans can watch tonight's elimination game on ESPN. The game will also be available online as a GXtra audio broadcast, and free live stats will be provided online, as well.
All times are EST.
GO LADY DIAMOND DOGS! SIC ‘EM! WOOF! WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!
