UGA Softball: Holding steady at No. 7 in USA Today, ESPN.com polls

The University of Georgia softball team has improved to 18-2 in its season, and continues to be ranked at No. 7 in the USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Association poll and the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll.

Last weekend, the Lady Diamond Dogs defeated Cleveland State, Rutgers, Ohio, Minnesota and Rutgers at the Bulldog International. They will be back on the diamond tomorrow in Athens, and will travel to Mississippi State later this week.

Georgia v. Furman is scheduled for Wednesday, Mar. 7, in Athens. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.

Georgia v. Mississippi State is scheduled for Friday, Mar. 9. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
