Due to conflicts with some of the film's cast members, UFTA will begin shooting their short film "Casting" next month (Jan. 2014) instead of this month.

UFTA President Al Quinn made some recent decisions not only concerning the film shoot date change, but when the annual UFTA elections will be held as well. That date will be Dec. 9.

Quinn has not set a date for the film shoot yet. He and the film's writer and director of photography have decided only on the month, but not the day. That is to be announced.

Quinn shared with that the film "Casting" has been on the table for a few years.

"We have had several readings and rehearsals for 'Casting.'

The film is a combination documentary and comedy, and it will be about the dos and don'ts of attending a film or TV casting."

UFTA attracts talented individuals. One of them includes Al Quinn, himself. Here he shares about the gorgeous area the film will be shot in.

"Our cast members come from all over this part of Florida, and even though we will probably not be using the beaches to shoot on this time, we know we have them if we need them!"
