The UFO phenomena today can be simply defined as crafts being seen in our skies that demonstrate physics we are incapable of engineering, according to Leslie Kean's comments on MSNBC with Dylan Ratigan.
No one can say for sure that they are being piloted by extraterrestrials.
Kean's appearance is one of a series of media appointments she's taken on after publishing the book, UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go On the Record (hardcover Crown).
"There's enough physical evidence of their presence, that without a doubt, there is something there," Kean said. "That's the point. What it is, is the question. It has not been explained yet."
Kean calls for a "proper scientific investigation" to be completed so that the phenomena can be explained.
"Everybody wants to know," she said.
Kean draws the line between skeptics - which the field needs - and debunkers - "people who are on a mission, to say anything to get across the point that UFOs don't exist because they can't exist. It's the 'can't exist so they don't exist.' These are the people who have not studied the data, don't read about it, can't talk about specific cases, and will give you irrational explanations like the planet Venus for something, when planet Venus isn't even in the sky that night."
"So there's a difference between skeptics and debunkers. We welcome skeptics." she said.
And an August 26, 2010, story in the Los Angeles Times online Outposts section by Kelly Burgess, details Fort Worth resident Lisa Brock-Piekarsi's infrared camera capture of mysterious lights from the family hunting spot.
They're not jumping on the UFO explanation, but everyone is wondering what the images are that were captured over a two-hour period
"What I see looks almost like a Frisbee," Brock-Piekarski told Dallas-Fort Worth NBC affiliate KXAS-TV. "You see a several lights going around, and they're all symmetrical and lit up, and it just looks like an object in the sky."

And this just in from Salt Lake magazine - which interestingly ties UFOs and Utah homes for sale.
"So, if you can handle living near a UFO crash pad and want a decent priced home, this is it," writer Brittany Hackett states.
Well, the homes Brittany lists for sale are all near the infamous Sherman Ranch, now owned by Robert Bigalow, the 480-acre "paranormal playground" that the book Hunt for the Skinwalker is based on. The book, one of my favorite reads, details both UFOs and Bigfoot creatures that plagued the original family who lived there, and later, the scientists Bigalow sent in to research the case.
Apparently if you purchase one of the nearby homes, you may also experience UFO sightings as many locals have in the past.

The August 25, 2010, story looks at a photo captured by Google Earth Images that shows a saucer-shaped object hovering above a field - including the shadow that the object projects onto the ground.
Allain uses his physics background to measure the UFO in question. Take a look. Even without the mathematics, the photo is worth taking a look at.

I think this whole world is a sham, I also believe that ancient astronauts came here probably just before the bronze age.
