On September 25 at approximately 8:20 p.m., a Hamilton resident was out walking a dog when a sphere-like object was seen.
According to a Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) report, the witness was “dog walking up the street facing south direction when (he) noticed an unusual bright object in the sky at 60 degree angle.” Then he noticed four to five “more orange glowing spheres of similar size and speed on what appeared to be the same direction of travel.”
The witness noted that the objects were traveling slower than an aircraft. Then an airplane “came into this airspace at the same time” and appeared to be following them. It then turned and flew off “in the opposite direction.”
The entire sighting lasted about five minutes.
“I felt surprised,” the witness noted, “as this was highly unusual considering (the) fairly populated area.” The objects then “blinked out one by one, until I could no longer observe them.”
On the same night, another Hamilton resident report to MUFON that a circle or disc-shaped object was seen at approximately 8:40 p.m.
“I was taking my dog for a walk on an unlit pathway. I generally always look in the sky for satellites or falling stars. As I was glancing directly above, I saw a light dot start streaking across the sky from (northwest) to (southeast).”
The witness was surprised when another object appeared and both took off in the same direction. Approximately 10 seconds later, “the same type of dots” came together from different directions. They paused for a couple of seconds and then they all disappeared. These objects were well organized and the speed at which they came together was something that I have never seen before.”
The witness added, “I am now a true believer that something we do not understand or may never understand is out there. It is something that will stay with me for the rest of my life.”
