Hiding and denying the truth about UFOs and extraterrestrials has been a national and international policy for a very long time now, but things may be changing in the not too-distant future.
For many decades now, a great many governments, military and intelligence organizations, national and international institutions and organizations, media outlets and personalities, and various outspoken individuals have all been lying through their teeth, playing their dutiful part in keeping the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations a heavily ridiculed and invalidated topic in the media, while behind the scenes, the truth remained a deeply buried, and highly-classified secret.
They have all been a part of the ongoing cover-up to keep the truth of things hidden, and most – with full knowledge of exactly what it was they were doing.
Very soon however, that decades-old policy of denial, invalidation, and misdirection will abruptly change.
Well, sort-of...
Very soon now, there is likely to be a great “revelation” coming from “the powers that be”, that Earth is not the only inhabited planet in the universe after all.
Of course a great many people have known this already for longer than the recent counterintelligence policies dating back to the 1940s, but for many others, who believe only what they see on the evening news, this may come as a bit of a shock to their current fatuous viewpoint of things.
Just exactly what and how much will be revealed by these chronic liars remains to be seen, as they are, one-and-all, simply “following orders” coming down from higher, but well-hidden levels above them. Well-hidden from most that is, and thus the role of the mass-media in keeping the darker truth of things hidden from the masses, while spoon-feeding them happy, sleep-inducing fairy tales to believe instead.
Of course they still have the option of denial and silence and "playing dumb" right up to the very end and then acting oh so "surprised" when a large number of ships suddenly show up at low altitude in plain view of millions; but once the full truth of the situation were known, that option would be even worse for their PR and spin machine than selectively admitting bits of the truth beforehand in an attempt to own the motion and control the direction and extent of the disclosure.
If you find the tone and choice of wording in this article rather blunt and critical, believe me when I say that it has been well-earned, long in the coming, and one-and-all have had plenty of warning and opportunity to get honest and straight, and do the right thing long before now.

Very soon now, the announcement will likely be made that we are not alone in the universe, and that a great many inhabited planets exist in the cosmos, inhabited by intelligent beings such as us, and many which are much more technologically advanced than us.
So far, so good, as that much is indeed true.
But beyond that is where things start getting a bit dicey, and the political speech-writers will be called-upon to work their media magic, deftly avoiding and artfully whitewashing the embarrassing facts, while playing on emotionalism to sway the masses in-support the officially-approved programs, secretly controlled front groups, and carefully-culled "spokespersons" and “opinion leaders”, chosen and heavily promoted by the mass media in-exchange for their willingness to obediently “follow orders” and stick only to the officially-approved talking points.
The announcement may continue with justifications and excuses about why the truth has been kept hidden for so long, and it will likely be something along the line of people needing time to “adjust”; or fear of mass panic ensuing citing Orson Wells’ broadcast of War of the Worlds; or other such “plausible deniability” types of excuses.
The simple truth however, behind all the logical-sounding excuses, is that they’ve been hiding some very unethical and incriminating things, and they feared the ramifications of being publicly exposed.
The announcement may continue further, stating that some extraterrestrial groups are friendly, while others are not. That would also be a true statement.
From this point forward however, there are a number of different possibilities, and scenarios, for which the “disclosure” may be utilized, and it ultimately depends upon which direction the scurrying rats decide to take as they rush to evacuate a sinking ship with their profits and hides intact.
From a number of indicators I have seen of late, the rats seem to be continuing with at least part of the old game plan, beginning to stir up religious fervor, preying upon various religious dichotomies, religious beliefs & fears, and altered religious texts, in order to intentionally engineer and bring about a “Final Battle” during which billions would be brutally exterminated under the guise of a “Holy War”.
They may even go so far as to actually launch their false-flag “alien invasion” utilizing mercenaries, renegades, and criminals in order to cause as much fear, confusion, mass-panic, and destruction as possible before being taken into custody and their plans derailed.
But when the official and “approved for the masses” announcement is finally made, there are a number of questions everyone should ask themselves...
If the announcement states that we are being “threatened” by a hostile extraterrestrial group as Hollywood is so fond of portraying, ask yourself these questions:

If there were indeed an extraterrestrial group bent upon overt military invasion and takeover of the planet, why didn’t they do it back in the 1940’s when the defensive and offensive capabilities and weapons systems of the military forces here were so much more primitive, and the planetary population was so much smaller?

Why sit idly-by in the shadows all this time, patiently waiting until certain of the military forces here had developed their own electrogravitic and energy weapons capabilities?

The dangers and ramifications of atomic weapons development, nuclear fuel, and radioactive contamination were well-known, as was the destructive vector of our current civilization back in the 1940's, so why wasn't the military invasion initiated back then, before the massive proliferation of nuclear weapons and contamination we see today?

Why did the “UFO Wave of 1947” abruptly cease about a week after the Roswell “incident”?
If the official announcement states that we have been fortuitously “befriended” by a group of extraterrestrial “good guys” who are here to help us, here are the questions you should ask yourself:

Would an extraterrestrial group which was more technologically, spiritually, and ethically advanced, form a hidden alliance with a bunch of criminals, chronic liars, mass-murderers, and planetary enslavers, and allow them to continue robbing, lying, murdering, and enslaving the populace of Earth unchecked?

Would a group of interstellar "good guys" allow business to continue as usual down here on the planet while sitting idly by in their lofty and comfortable positions, coolly observing and taking a “non-interference” (no responsibility) position and doing nothing to expose or halt the massive criminality, suppression and murder down here on the planet?

And if so, what does that reveal about their true nature and agenda?
No, I’m afraid the real truth of the matter is a bit more complicated, and a bit more unpleasant than the simplistic scenarios above, which is why many people avoid and invalidate this area altogether. Most people simply don't want to confront the larger and deeper ramifications of the truth, and this is also why so many have been a willing participant in keeping it hidden.
As I told Clifford Clift, then the International Director of MUFON back in September of 2011:
“At some point down the road, someone is going to look pretty bad, but it isn’t going to be me.”

Of course we should expect that the “powers that be” down here on the planet (and elsewhere) will aggressively try to invalidate and deny this fact, and paint us all a false rosy picture to keep us all naively complacent and asleep...
Of course they will... they’ve been a willing and active party to this program all along.
