UFO Traffic Report: Thursday, September 22, 2011

The UFO Traffic Report for Thursday, September 22, 2011, includes low flying, chevron-shaped objects over Connecticut with witnesses at two locations; a black triangle UFO low in the sky over Wixom, MI; a "sub-car-sized" sphere over Wetumpka, AL; and two photos of a glowing object hovering over San Francisco International Airport, as reported to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

Witnesses from Arizona, Michigan, New York and Wisconsin also filed seven recent reports; while four older cases were filed from Arizona, California, Florida and Michigan witnesses during the past 24 hours.

Report
You control public access to identity and location. Report a UFO. Good witness testimony and site evidence - including photos and video - are very welcome.

Video
Place the camera in a stable (non-moving) position if possible. Use the video's audio to verbally document what you are experiencing at the time.

Encounters
If you encounter an unfamiliar object very low to the ground or one that has landed, move a safe distance away, call 911, and please file a MUFON report soon after the event. Older-recalled UFO event reports also appreciated.

AZ, September 21, 2011 - A glowing object hovers and then moves in a new direction in MUFON Case # 31971. "I immediately focused my binoculars on it and to my shock and surprise, it was changing shapes from a tetrahedral shape to a more oval shape and back and forth again. It was moving slowly in a general SSW direction," the witness stated. (Note: In geometry, a tetrahedron (plural: tetrahedra) is a polyhedron composed of four triangular faces, three of which meet at each vertex.)
AZ, September 20, 2011 - Four blinking lights were reported near Barry M. Goldwater Air Force Range in MUFON Case # 31978. The objects were described by the witness as glowing discs. "Now what really freaked me out is that the objects were disappearing and reappearing almost in a slanted line from about 500 feet to almost where the 2 p.m. sun was located," the witness stated. "When the objects disappeared they left a shadow and appeared almost directly on top of their previous location. Kind of like blinking Christmas lights."
AZ, September 20, 2011 - A solid, round orange light appeared and disappeared in the sky as reported in MUFON Case # 31986. " It didn't appeared to be flickering but just a solid orange light,"the witness stated. "The light just seemed more or less to be just hovering in the sky from my perspective."
AZ, September 18, 2011 - A witness returning home about 6 a.m. is unsure about a single, bright light in the sky in MUFON Case # 31980. Three photos - taken with a cell phone - were included in the report: Image # 1, Image # 2, and Image # 3.
MI, September 21, 2011 - A couple and their nephew report a bright orange orb that eventually flashed a white color and vanished in MUFON Case # 31988. Spotting orange orbs is nothing new to this family - they seem them several times on a weekly basis. "My husband, who normally writes off all orange orbs that aren’t right above him, as airplanes with their landing lights on, flying in on approach, could not attribute this to any aircraft," the reporting witness stated.
NY, September 20, 2011 - Two witnesses report an orange fireball moving over Staten Island at 8:30 a.m. in MUFON Case # 31975. "It appeared to be ascending and then at times it appeared to descend," the reporting witness stated. "It was moving rather slow from our vantage point, but we really couldn't tell its direction or speed. Additionally, seconds before the fireball disappeared or went out - it began to flicker on and off. Perhaps the cloud cover masked the UFO as it began to rise?"
WI, September 21, 2011 - A witness riding a motorcycle along southbound Highway 32 near Chickory Road enroute to Kenosha at 8:40 p.m. reports a bright, star-like object that appeared to hover for several minutes before disappearing in MUFON Case # 31979. "As we road for several minutes, it seemed to be either emitting more intense light or descending closer, or maybe even growing in size," the witness stated.

AZ, July 25, 2011 - Several teenagers were spooked while walking in a remote wooded area when a bright object "just floated out of the clouds" in MUFON Case # 31970. "The clouds were odd that night," the reporting witness stated. "There was a semi-transparent cloud underneath the thing and then a thicker, but still hazy, cloud above it. We slowed down to a near stop and kinda got closer to each other and the object was making a slow motion bee line and we could see the light on top of the cloud underneath it. We were afraid so we decided to get out and power walked until it made a sharp turn and then sluggishly accelerated into the cloud and then out of sight."
CA, September 20, 1982 - Two witnesses driving near Vacaville report four "transparent objects" in a triangle formation in MUFON Case # 31976. "By the distance they were seen at they must have been huge because a plane at that distance would have looked smaller," the witness stated.
FL, March 15, 2010 - A woman describes a night time encounter with a "large, human-like figure" in a case that may have involved alien abduction in MUFON Case # 31987. "I remember trying to scream out and pointed at the same time but 'nothing' would come out of my mouth no matter how hard I attempted to shout I could not produce even a whisper," the witness stated. "It was as if he possessed some sort of immortal power over my actions until he was out of my sight. He never once turned around where I could see his face, but he was all 'black' and 'soldier like in his walk...like on a mission he needed to complete?'"
MI, August 8, 1966 - A witness reflects back when, as a boy, he and several others out on an overnight adventure in the neighbor's back yard watched an unusual object in the sky. "It was disc-shaped with a dome and glowing red like red hot metal," the witness stated. "I couldn't hear any sound coming from it. It looked as though it was decending. I know this is going to sound funny, but it looked like the Pizza Hut logo."
