During the second half of June 2014, many people reported sightings of UFOs in the skies over Ontario.
On June 19, a resident of Port Huron was in Sarnia when a disc-shaped object with a dome on top was seen. According to a Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) report, the witness was taking an afternoon drive near the “government docks in Sarnia when a Chinese freighter was seen. Two pictures of the ship on the St. Clair River were taken and when the witness returned home, a strange object was seen above the ship in the photos.
However, the witness noted, “I don't know if this is a phone artifact or an actual UFO.”
Also on June 19 between 9:40 and 10:20 p.m., a Toronto resident saw a “V-shaped” object that had “bright white lights on either ‘wing’ and (a) larger blue orb shape in the center.”
According to a UFO Info report, the witness was “hanging out with a friend in the park” where UFOs were previously seen. The witness had just told a friend that the sky and weather appeared quite weird with “no wind” and sky with no moving clouds that was “brighter than it should have been at that time.”
As the witness saw a car drive by, he glanced toward the tree line. That is when “a very bright blue light with two bright white lights on either side of the larger blue orb” was seen. The witness noted that the object was moving at a “slow speed” and then “dropped out of view behind the tree line. You could still see the lights breaching the tree line and it seemed to turn in a south(westerly) direction.”
The witness and others waited about half an hour to see if any other objects would appear. However, all that could be seen was the light behind the trees. The witness later learned that a domestic flight at Pearson International Airport had been delayed “around the same time as the sighting.” Also, a “strange plane” was seen close to where the object had descended. As the plane approached the area, it shut off all lights on the right hand side.
“Also I noticed this plane’s flight path was a little strange”as it “almost flew in an S formation.”
