A UFO was seen shooting across the skies over São Paulo, Brazil on January 31, 2012 at 6:53 a.m. The unidentified flying object seemed to be moving at a downward angle and left a white smoke-like trail in its wake.
This UFO sighting was reported by YHWH25. One person who commented on the video claimed that the UFO was actually nothing more than an airplane and its contrails. That seems like a plausible theory.
Another possible explanation for the unidentified flying object seen over São Paulo, Brazil is a meteor. Meteors are commonly known as falling stars or shooting stars. When a meteor is particularly bright or accompanied by an explosion, it is known as a bolide.
Bolides are frequently mistaken for UFOs because of their dramatic appearance as they streak across the sky leaving a trail of light or flames behind them. Some bolides are so extraordinarily bright that they can make the night literally as bright as daytime, if only for a brief moment.
The swiftly moving UFO over São Paulo, Brazil wasn't particularly bright like some bolides, but it still bore a resemblance to a meteor. For now, this flying object remains unidentified.
