On Sunday, November 28, 2011, a 33-year-old woman named Alicia witnessed a UFO sighting in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. The Melbourne, Australia native described the sight as an "awesome UFO orb formation" in the description of the video she recorded of the UFOs and subsequently shared on the Internet.
According to Alicia (a.k.a. Alicia5D on YouTube), she was able to capture lots of footage of an orb moving in the dark night sky. In addition, she recorded three flashing red orbs during the same UFO sighting. She noted that she heard the sounds of a helicopter for several hours following her UFO experience. Her description of the events of that evening reads, in part:
"Now it sounds like the "police" helicopter is doing the rounds there has been a plane or helicopter flying over Geelong for the last few hours, every few mins I hear it go past, but I can't see it...I wish it would go away just quietly . . .
These UFOs have been sighted in the Geelong area over the last week, sceptic's [sic] are suggesting Remote Control Planes, but the sightings have been reported in Drysdale, Newtown / Highton & Corio Bay which extends over 10+ Kms. Similar sightings have been recorded by others . . . "
The video of the UFO sighting shows a dark landscape punctuated by many electrical lights (most likely from homes and businesses). In the black night sky above the city, one bright white orb moves back and forth across the sky multiple times.
The three red orbs mentioned by the witness appear late in the video and are rather difficult to spot. They seem to be arranged in a straight vertical line and disappear after just a few short seconds.
The video has received positive response thus far. The videographer mentioned in the comments section on YouTube that she is working on a high definition of the video to be released soon. It will be interesting to see if additional details can be discovered about this UFO sighting once the improved video is available.
