The UFO Traffic Report for Wednesday, September 2, 2009, includes 4 selected sightings over 4 states, according to witness statements filed in the past 48 hours with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.
Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If MUFON investigates and reports back on any of these cases, I will update this page. The following reports and their headlines are unedited.
LA, September 2, 2009 - 4 Ufos. MUFON Case # 19055.
A Louisiana witness saw four lights in the sky at a high altitude - three blue lights and one red light. Two of the blue lights were visible for about five minutes before disappearing and the red light moved in a straight line and quickly disappeared. One of the blue lights remained for about a half-hour. The sighting occurred near Barksdale AFB.
CA, September 2, 2009 - Rectangular Object Sighted over Long Beach. MUFON Case # 19049.
A California witness westbound on Second Street at Studebaker Road in Long Beach saw a rectangular object about twice the length of a B-52 and twice as tall at between 6,000 to 10,000 feet in altitude.
NY, September 2, 2009 - a Fuzzy Line of Light visible in daylight. MUFON Case # 19048.
This New York witness saw a "mysterious line of light bobbing around up and down erratically with some zig zagging left to right."
The line disappeared and reappeared, separated into two lines, then formed a single line again.
FL, September 2, 2009 - Witnessed elongated diamond-shaped object, Appeared to be glowing red on the bottom, with three strong lights in the middle making a broken circle. MUFON Case # 19047.
A Florida witness watched a diamond-shaped object that was "fairly thick and long." Three other vehicles seemed to be in pursuit of the same object. "Seeing the other cars chasing it from what seemed to be the direction the object was coming from made me really take a closer look, and noticed the odd glowing bottom which I had at first dismissed as a trick of the light on my windshield or a low cloud. Upon looking at it, there seemed to be lines all over the object, like sharp grooves along the surface, and the bright glowing red center which were three thick arch-shaped points of light that together formed a circle which had gaps between them, appearing almost like supports between each piece. "

Re: MUFON 19049. That's absolutely humongous ! Presumably it was 2 B52s wide as well? Maybe not, it says rectangular,not cubic.How thick was it? For some reason there's nothing there when I click the link, and all the other MUFON case links are working OK.
Can't help wondering whether anyone else noticed it. At that size it was potentially visible to millions of people.Couldn't the witness have pulled over and got a photo? At that size even a phone camera could have got a decent shot.
You would thing..but it is tough to focus when they have the alien probe up your you-know-what.
Stoner :- too right dude, and there's still nothing when I click on the MUFON link. Something rectangular is hardly stealth technology and would have left a big enough radar signature to bring up the entire air force.
Single witness account should be taken with a large pinch of BS.
