UFO at 200 feet 'just disappeared'

A Georgia witness saw a shining object hovering 200 feet in the sky while driving along Ridge Road in Buford, that "just disappeared" on October 6, 2010, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The driver pulled the vehicle over and watched the object for about 20 seconds before it disappeared.

"It didn't fly off or move, just vanished," the witness stated.

The witness then continued moving, driving another quarter-mile, and had a similar experience.

"As I got to the red light, with my eyes on the sky, I noticed something appear out of nowhere further off in the distance directly ahead of me. I sat and watched it. It appeared to be the same object (or another one of the same thing), except it was further away and this time, it moved very slowly to my right for about five seconds and then, again, just disappeared."

Buford is a city in both Gwinnett and Hall counties, population 12,387.

The following is the unedited and as yet uninvestigated report filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Georgia MUFON State Director Ralph Howard investigates and reports back on this case, I will release an update. Please report UFO activity to MUFON.com.

GA, October 6, 2010 - Silver metal. Longer than it was tall. MUFON Case # 25710.

I was driving down Ridge Road in Buford, away from Friendship Road, headed towards Hamilton Mill. It was a beautiful day today, not a cloud in the sky.

As I was approaching a break in the trees, something shining in the sky caught my eye. My very first reaction was knowing that it was NOT a plane. As I kept glancing at it for the next 20-30 feet, I found a place to pull over.

It wasn't moving. Just sitting there hovering in the sky. It looked to be about 200 feet up. My windows were down and cars were driving by, but I couldn't hear any kind of sound out of this object. I sat and watched it for about 20 seconds and then it just disappeared.

It didn't fly off or move, just vanished.

As I searched the sky for it, I noticed an actual plane going by in roughly the same area and I could hear the plane pass and noticed that the sun wasn't bouncing off of the plane like it was the previous object. I pulled back onto the road and drove to the redlight that was 1/4 of a mile away from where I pulled over, while watching the sky to see if it popped back up.

As I got to the redlight, with my eyes on the sky, I noticed something appear out of nowhere further off in the distance directly ahead of me. I sat and watched it. It appeared to be the same object (or another one of the same thing), except it was further away and this time, it moved very slowly to my right for about 5 seconds and then, again, just disappeared.

When the light turned green, I made my left hand turn and kept glancing towards the sky. I didn't see anything else on the way home, but I know what I saw and it was a UFO. Now, I want to go out tonight and search the stars to see if I can find anything else.

I had a very similar experience a few years ago. I saw a shining orb one clear morning. It was a few hundred feet from me and about 100 foot in the air. I would estimate its size to have been about that of a small car. There was nothing for it to hide behind, the sky was perfectly blue and it shone like stainless steel ball-bearing, As I was watching it just disappeared into thin air! As I was returning down the same road a few hours later I saw exactly the same thing on the opposite side of the road and, once again, it just dissolved from view as I was looking at it

There is a reason why UFOs in almost all circumstances disappear instead of flying away. This is because they are not from some distant planet but rather separate dimensions. We only see the 3D version the the being.

Think of a person living in a 2d world. If a 3D person (you and I) where to pass a football through the 2D world. The 2D person would see an object appear out of nowhere change shape and assuming disappear. But in reality it was just a 3D football passing through a 2D space.

If all you say is true then how about this I experienced. My front yard is 1/2 mile facing a huge mountain. Twice I saw the shinning object fly into the mountain from far off, hoovering up against the mountain. hoovering just above the landscape. After it started hoovering, it turned bright sun red, for 3 to 5 minutes then flew away very quick, and within a second, the object turned into siler, and the size of silver dollars. Twice now, I have experienced this sighting. And others have as well. Miners say they saw it many times fly in and hoover at the same location.

I think he had his light on inside his car. And after looking for about 20 seconds, he realized he could probably see it better if he turned his light off. When he did, it disappeared.
So he was looking at the reflection of the interior light off his window. Perhaps he was also partaking of jovial beverages.
