UFC selects Monster to create official headphone of the UFC

Monster, the world leader in personal audio, and the Ultimate Fighting Championship introduced the UFC's first-ever performance headphones today, including an Over-Ear Octagon and Special Edition In-Ear iSport Octagon headphones at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show known as CES in Las Vegas, Nevada.

From intense training to the moment the fighter enters the arena to the pounding sounds of their personal sound track, music is an integral part of both the fighters' and fans' UFC experience. It's what fuels fighters' training and keeps them motivated before entering the UFC fight cage which is trademarked as the Octagon.

"The Octagon headphones are designed in every way to be as revolutionary as the UFC," said Tracey Bleczinski, UFC Senior Vice President of Consumer Products in a statement released to media. "We are excited about this collaboration with Monster because their headphones exhibit excellence with an edge and extraordinary performance."

Designed by Head Monster Noel Lee, Pure Monster Sound uses Monster's latest proprietary technologies to offer the full experience of live music with extreme clarity, tight articulation and deep pounding bass that motivates to achieve at the highest level of performance.

Inspired and worn by world-class UFC athletes such as UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, the Octagon headphones are designed to sustain the wear and tear of traveling and training. Features also include rotating ear cups, matte finish, and an ultra-durable construction.

The Over-Ear Octagon headphones feature swiveling padded ear cups with an Octagon-cut pattern and a stylish red and black matte finish. They are available now for pre-order only at

The Special Edition In-Ear iSport Octagon headphones offer a custom in-ear fit audio seal and feature a variety of ear tips including the OmniTip rotating ear pipe to ensure acoustic isolation that allows focus on workouts and fitness goals. The Special Edition iSport Octagon headphones will be available later this year.
