According to a Jan. 26 report from MMA Fighting, Bader scored the fastest submission win in the history of the UFC's light-heavyweight division, needing just 50 seconds to submit Vladimir Matyushenko at the UFC on FOX 6 card in Chicago.
"I've been working on it all camp," Bader said. "I trapped the arm and I ended up getting it."
In other UFC on FOX 6 action, David Mitchell defeated Simon Thoresen via unanimous decision and Rafael Natal stopped Sean Spencer with an arm-triangle choke.
Natal earned the ref stoppage at 2:13 of the third frame.
Later in the evening, the heavyweights took the center of the octagon, as Shawn Jordan squared off with Mike Russow.
Jordan worked for a full mount in the second frame, and he find a home with hammerfists to his opponent's face as the round wound to a close. Jordan earned the ref stoppage at 3:48 of the second round, as he was awarded an official knockout victory by ref Herb Dean.
Additionally, the UFC on FOX 6 undercard featured a bout between Mike Stumpf and Pascal Krauss.
It was a back-and-forth affair that drew the ire of the crowd in Chicago, but Krauss began to find his range with a stiff jab in the second frame. Krauss came away with the decision victory.
The UFC on FOX 6 undercard wraps up with a fight between Clay Guida and Hatsu Hioki, along with a clash between T.J. Grant and Matt Wiman.
The UFC on FOX 6 main card features a flyweight title bout between Demetrious Johnson and John Dodson, plus a lightweight matchup between Anthony Pettis and Donald Cerrone.
Quinton Jackson also fights Glover Teixeira in a light heavyweight showdown.
