UFC on FOX 6: Johnson vs Dodson main card picks and predictions (Video)

According to a Jan. 26 report from SBNation.com, Quinton Jackson is set to have his final fight in the UFC on Jan. 26 in Chicago.

UFC on FOX 6 features a flyweight title fight between Demetrious Johnson and John Dodson, along with an exciting tilt between Rampage Jackson and Glover Teixeira.

"The last Fox fight on Saturday was the most watched show in the history of the FX network with people from 18-49," said UFC boss Dana White. "I hope we pull a good number."

Here's a look at some picks and predictions for the UFC on FOX 6 main card:

Demetrious Johnson (16-2-1) vs. John Dodson (14-5)

The flyweights are speedy, but not heavy-handed. That said, this one is likely to go the distance. Johnson has the cardio and the advantage in the wrestling game, so look for him to take his opponent to the mat to impose his will. Johnson should earn the victory via unanimous judge's decision.

Rampage Jackson (32-10) vs. Glover Teixeira (19-2)

Jackson isn't the dominant fighter he once was, and he has been on the decline for years. He desperately wants Teixeira to keep the fight standing, but this one could turn into a battle on the ground. Expect Teixeira to work for a takedown and then implement some serious ground-and-pound to earn a ref stoppage.

Anthony Pettis (15-2) vs. Donald Cerrone (19-4-1)

This is one lightweight battle with fireworks written all over it. Pettis and Cerrone are both gamers, and they don't like each other at all. Pettis is too young and too fast to lose in the standup game. Look for Pettis to win with a highlight-reel knockout in the first-round, to set up a rematch against Benson Henderson.

Ricardo Lamas (12-2) vs. Erik Koch (13-1)

This featherweight tilt may very well decide who is next in line to fight Jose Aldo. Lamas has the edge on the ground, and Koch has the advantage in the standup game. This is a very close fight that could go either way, but Koch will likely grind out a close decision win.
