According to a Dec. 28 post from MMA Fighting, UFC women's bantamweight champion "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey (7-0) will face perennial title contender Miesha Tate (13-4) in the co-main event of UFC 168 in Las Vegas, Nev.
Rousey, 26, and the 27-year-old Tate have a personal rivalry that dates all the way back to their Strikeforce fight in 2012.
The "feud" got even more intense during TUF 18, a show where Tate and Rousey coached opposite each other.
"If the Real Housewives threw down at the end of their season, how great would that be?" Rousey asked. "Every schoolyard in the world loves a fight. That's how you get them to glance at us.
"The movie stuff was fun, but by the time it was over, I said, 'Oh, thank God.' I'm so ready to get back in the gym. ... It's tough to have to look good and say some line 19 million times. I'd rather slum it and not shave and punch things."
"I think he's the best guy in the weight class for me to beat," Weidman said of Silva in an ESPN.com report. "He's the greatest of all time. He's a guy most people think I can't beat, and that gives me a drive. That's what I want."
Weidman snapped Silva's 16-fight win streak by knocking him out at UFC 162. Saturday's event marks Weidman's first attempted defense of the UFC's middleweight title.
