The UFC 166 live stream and TV fight card for Dos Santos vs. Velasquez was made official on Friday, as weigh-ins took place in Houston. The two heavyweights will go head-to-head in their third meeting, with the winner deciding their 1-1 series against each other in past fights. If Junior dos Santos wins, he also claims the UFC Heavyweight Championship during the televised and live stream UFC 166 event.
A Bleacher Report article from Oct. 18 indicates that tonight's free preliminary fight card fights begin at 6:15 p.m. EST on UFC's Facebook and YouTube pages. There's four fights among them, including TJ Waldburger vs. Adlan Amagov, Tony Ferguson vs. Mike Rio and Jeremy Larsen vs. Andre Fili. These fights will be shown live streaming online, free of charge, for fans who have clicked "Like" at UFC's Facebook, or are over on the YouTube channel. This portion of the "under card" is expected to last until about 8 p.m. EST.
At 8 p.m. is when the next batch of free preliminaries arrive, and they'll be televised on Fox Sports 1. One of the featured matches on this undercard includes Nate Marquardt vs. Hector Lombard, which is surprising, because some might expect it on a main pay-per-view. Getting it for free isn't bad at all. There's also a women's bantamweight battle with Sarah Kaufman vs. Jessica Eye, as well as Time Boetsch vs. C.B. Dollaway and George Sotiropoulos vs. KJ Noons. This two hours of free fights will be on cable and satellite up until about 10 p.m. EST.
The main pay-per-view starts up at 10 p.m. EST and will feature Junior Dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez for the UFC Heavyweight Championship. In addition, Roy Nelson takes on Daniel Cormier as part of the co-main event. Viewers can watch those two major fights and three others on the main card via cable or satellite pay-per-view, or by ordering a live stream online. The UFC website lists services including UFC.TV, USTREAM, Yahoo! and YouTube as areas where the PPV can be ordered and viewed Saturday night.
