On Saturday, the UFC 158 live stream and TV fight card arrives for mixed martial arts fans. This one features a hard-hitting main event with Georges St-Pierre vs. Nick Diaz in a battle for the World Welterwewight Championship held by GSP. There's also free preliminary fights online and TV for fans to get revved up for the main event.
According to MMA Mania on March 15, the champion appears confident and ready for the latest bout as he takes on Diaz. St-Pierre is quoted as saying, "I'm going to finish him -- knockout or submission hopefully." He also added regarding Diaz making steroid allegations about him:
"I don't mind, it doesn't bother me, I'm going to win. I'm going to beat him tomorrow that's it, that's all."
GSP remains the heavy favorite for tonight's main bout. The two face off during tonight's UFC Pay-Per-View at 10 p.m. EST, but first up there will be 7 free fights offered via live stream online and TV. The free prelims begin at 6:35 p.m. EST on the official UFC Facebook page, with Story vs. Mulhern, Dillashaw vs. Tamura and Roop vs. Duran among the free featured fights. Fans simply need to have clicked "Like" on the UFC Facebook page in order to see the live video feed.
The FX channel will host four more free preliminary fights beginning at 8 p.m. EST. Featured in these fights are Vote vs. Voelker, Carvalho vs. Elkins, Miller vs. Mein, and Makdessi vs. Cruicshank. To watch the fights simply head to the FX channel on cable or satellite. Roanoke viewers with Cox Cable can see them on channel 57.
The main UFC 158 fight card is what many MMA fans are awaiting though. It features St-Pierre vs. Diaz in the main event but is joined by another high profile fight in Carlos Condit vs. Johnny Hendricks. Other included fights will be Jake Ellenberger vs. Nate Marquardt, Nick Ring vs. Chris Camozzi, and Mike Ricci vs. Colin Fletcher. The main fight card gets started at 10PM EST and is available on cable, satellite or live stream via the internet for those who order the Pay-Per-View.
Services such as Cox Cable, Comcast, DISH Network and DirecTV will have the event available for order Saturday night. Additionally, MMA fans in Roanoke can head to the local Hooters restaurant where they usually show each of the UFC Pay-Per-Views live to patrons.
