The UFC 156 Aldo vs. Edgar live stream online and televised fight card arrives Saturday night ahead of a huge main card. Mixed martial arts fans will be able to watch free preliminary fights online and on television, right before the Pay-Per-View goes live on cable, satellite and the live stream feeds.
While the UFC 156 live streaming fights begin at 7 p.m. EST on Facebook, many are looking forward to tonight's main PPV card including Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar. According to a report from ESPN.com on Feb. 2, every fighter on tonight's card made their weights for the event. That includes the former UFC lightweight champion, Frankie Edgar who came in at 144 pounds. Edgar will make his featherweight debut on Saturday night when he takes on UFC champion Jose Aldo in a battle for the 145-pound belt. Edgar said of his chances:
"I know he's been a great champion for awhile, but I feel better than ever at (145)."
The UFC 156 fight card officially begins at 7 p.m. EST on the UFC's Facebook fan page with free preliminary fights. There will be two free live streaming fights which will include Chico Camus vs. Dustin Kimura and Edwin Figueroa vs. Francisco Rivera. To watch these fights, MMA fans must head over and click "Like" on the Facebook fan page.
Starting at 8 p.m. EST, four more free fights are featured for television viewers on FX. These will include Tibau vs. Dunham, Woodley vs. Hieron, Volkmann vs. Green and Edwards vs. Vallie-Flagg. The FX presentation can be seen locally on Cox Cable channel 57 and will last up until 10 p.m. EST.
The main card will not only feature the championship bout between Frankie Edgar and Jose Aldo, but two co-main events. One will have a light heavyweight bout between Rashad Evans and Antonio Nogueira, who each tip the scales at 206 pounds. The other features the 264 pound Alistair Overeem against Antonio Silva, who came in just two pounds lighter. There's several other fights on the card as well, with Jon Fitch among those in action.
The UFC 156 live stream and TV Pay-Per-View begins at 10 p.m. EST and can be ordered locally on services such as Cox Cable, DISH Network, and DirecTV. Additionally, MMA fans in the Roanoke area can head out to the Hooters in Roanoke to watch the event live inside the restaurant.
