Mark Munoz was so overwhelming Saturday that Ryan Jensen did not even have enough time to tap out at UFC 108 in Las Vegas.

Jensen came out kicking, then went for a knee that Munoz caught and used to immediately score a takedown. Jensen attempted to defend with a guillotine, but Munoz went to side control, then nearly took the back before Jensen escaped and got up.
Jensen tried to push Munoz against the fence, appearing to be posturing to take down the wrestler, but Munoz instead took down Jensen and unloaded an array of strikes.
Jensen gave his back and Munoz kept blasting away with such ferocity that he could not even tap quickly and often enough to be seen, needing to keep covering up before it was called at 2:30 of the first round.
“I know that’s a hole in my game, so I have been (working on) my standup," Munoz said. "I got pretty good ground and pound. I want to rely on my heavy hands on the ground. I really wanted a submission victory, but I’ll take it.”
