Paulo Thiago vs. Jacob Volkmann
Round 1
Both men come out pawing at each other. They lock up with each other and press against the cage. Paulo takes down Jacob. Jacob is able to get up and reverse position. And they are both back up and locked up against the cage. Thiago takes down Jacob and gets the full mount. Thiago landing a few glancing blows but Jacob able to get back to his feet. Back to the cage they lock up and throw a few low knees. Back to the center, Thiago lands a left hook and a straight right and knocks down Jacob at the bell. Jacob was saved by the bell..
Round 2
Thiago comes out and lands some big strikes. He rocks Jacob and they lock up against the cage. Jacob is able to take down Thiago. They grapple for position on the mat. Eventually they stand back up and press against the cage. Crowd is booing and the ref tells them to work. Jacob takes down Thiago but Thaigo is able to reverse and get into a mount position. Jacob lays on back as ref tells them for more action. Thiago stands up and then throws a big punch and gets into side control as the round ends.
Round 3
They come out trying to land some big hands. Thiago is able to connect with a big right hand and knocks down Jacob. Thiago jumps on Jacob trying to finish him but Jacob reverses and gets top control. Up and down they go and eventually Jacob gets a semi-crucifixion position and lands a few shots to the head of Thiago. Jacob loses position and Thiago gets side control. Jacob locks in a side choke but Thiago gets out and lands some elbows to the face. Round ends..
