UFC 105 will take place this Saturday in Manchester, England. The main event will feature Brandon "The Truth" Vera against Randy "The Natural" Couture. Of corse, no UFC event in England would be complete without Michael Bisping. He will face Denis Kang. The televised main card will have at least five fights. Some of the pre-taped undercard fights will also be included, depending on time constraints. Fans in the U.S. will be able to watch the event for free on Spike. 

Ross Pearson and Aaron Riley will compete in the lightweight division. Both of these fighters are very scrappy, relying mostly on stand up strikes. Pearson may have a bit more raw strength, but Riley is the more experienced fighter. This fight could go all three rounds with Riley getting the decision victory.

Matt Brown's last fight was a devastating knockout victory over Pete Sell. He will face stiffer competition in James Wilks. However, Brown should be able to win by knockout again.

Michael Bisping has become England's favorite son in the world of mma, thanks to the promotional skills of Dana White. Bisping has been on the card three of the last four UFC events held in the United Kingdom. His most notable competitor to date was Dan Henderson, who ended their fight with a strong right fist followed by a diving cross-arm, which made Sportscenter's highlights. Bisping should get back on the winning track with this fight against Denis Kang.

Mike Chiappetta reported in late September that the fight between Dan Hardy and Mike Swick would determine the number one contender to the welterweight championship, currently held by George. St. Pierre. These two fighters are both pretty tough, but they will likely be cautious in order to not make a mistake in this high profile fight. A decision victory for Swick could happen.

Randy Couture is a takedown and ground-and-pound specialist. He has held both the UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight titles. At the age of forty-six he is still in great shape. However, Brandon Vera is an excellent kick-boxer and will attempt to keep Couture at bay in order to avoid his takedown attempts. Vera should win this fight if he is able to do just that.
