UCLA offers free women’s heart health seminar

Women interested in heart health can attend a free seminar at UCLA Health System on May 21. Experts will address common issues regarding women’s heart health such as: Can stress kill me? Can vitamins mend a broken heart? Is exercise ever dangerous? What are triglycerides and how important are they? The seminar will feature women involved in heart health, including cardiologists, social scientists, and heart patients. In addition to addressing common questions about women’s heart health, individual women’s experiences, and leading research in the field will be covered. The event is sponsored by The Barbra Streisand Women’s Heart Health Program at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in association with RAND Corporation.
