The UCF women’s basketball program revealed their broadcast schedule for the upcoming 2013-14 season on Oct. 2. The Golden Knights are entering their first season in the American Athletic Conference after spending the past eight seasons in Conference USA.
The Golden Knights will have 13 of their AAC games shown on four different affiliates, including four matchups on ESPN 2, the other nine games will be aired on The American Digital Network, SNY and WHAS.
SNY (SportsNet New York) is a regional sports network that is available in nearly 14 million homes. Nationally it is also available via DirecTV's SportsPack, as well as Verizon FIOS, AT&T U-Verse, and Comcast Cable. WHAS-DT2 is the digital channel of the ABC affiliate in Louisville.

UCF returns five letterwinners, including four starters, from their 2012-13 season that advanced to the Conference USA tournament finals after finishing eighth during the regular season. The Golden Knights were 16-18 overall and 7-9 in conference play last season.
5-4 sophomore guard Briahanna Jackson, Conference USA’s Freshman of the Year last season, leads the Golden Knights returnees. Jackson averaged 15.7 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.1 steals and 2.0 assists last season. She also broke the 15-year-old Conference USA freshman single-season steals record and became UCF’s single-steals record holder with 108 thefts.
Senior Sara Djassa (7.2 ppg and 4.0 rpg) and senior Ericka Jones (8.6 ppg and 9.6 rpg) along with junior Andrea Hines (4.3 ppg and 3.2 rpg) are the other returning starters.
