The Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy in partnership with Westminster College will present its sixth and final lecture in the 2012-2013 Ambassador John Price and Marcia Price Lecture Series on Tuesday, March 19. The Council will feature Cari E. Guittard, who will discuss “Power, Persuasion and Purpose - Preparing and Arming the Next Generation to Compete and Succeed Globally.”
A founding Principal of Global Engagement Partners (GEP), and a member of the Adjunct Faculty of the University Southern California and Hult International Business School Dubai, Guittard provides an interactive and provocative lecture focusing on corporate diplomacy and entrepreneurship in international affairs. She asks, “Are we doing enough to inspire and prepare the next generation to compete and succeed globally?”
Ms. Guittard holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Political Science and an MPA from the University of Texas at Dallas. She teaches graduate courses in Corporate Diplomacy and Geopolitics at USC’s Annenberg School and courses in international negotiations and women’s leadership for the Hult Business School in Dubai.
UCCD’s lecture series is free and open to the public. Ms. Guittard’s lecture is scheduled for Tuesday, March 19 at 7 p.m. in the Vieve Gore Concert Hall, found in the Emma Eccles Jones Conservatory at Westminster College, 1840 South 1300 East in Salt Lake City.
