Assassin's Creed IV is set to become one of holiday 2013's largest titles. Successor to Ubisoft's most successful title in history, Assassin's Creed 3; it tells the story Edward Kenway, a pirate sailing the Caribbean seas during the Golden Age of piracy.
With that said, Ubisoft is not taking the success of the series lightly, doing everything they can to provide consistent content for the player base. In order to do so, Ubisoft has launched "Assassin's Creed Initiates;" an interactive website aimed at expanding the Assassin's Creed experience in past, present and future Assassin's Creed games.
From the little we know, as Ubisoft has yet to release an official press release, Assassin's Creed Initiates will enhance players experience with the franchise by keeping them engaged year round. From expanding on story driven lore to tracking missions via actions performed in game, Ubisoft has really ramped up the overall Assassin's Creed experience. It's also expected that exclusive interviews, developer access and merchandise are sure to follow.
Be sure to check out the site for yourself (seen here), as it was launched earlier today. Be sure to let me know what you think by leaving a comment below, subscribing to me here and on YouTube at YouTube/Pitmonkey and by following me on Twitter @NicholasGigante.
