Ubisoft setting sail with 'Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag'

Following the massive success of the recently released Assassin's Creed 3, Ubisoft has announced that the series will be setting sail on Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Ubisoft released the above artwork today in relation to the upcoming title, hinting that the series will incorporate pirates this time around.

More details are expected to arrive Monday, March 4, hopefully giving gamers a glimpse of the time period they will enter and the characters involved, after Assassin's Creed 3's successful run in the revolutionary time period.

One of the most popular facets of Assassin's Creed 3 were the naval missions, with the aquatic combat being revolutionary in its own right. It seems to be a safe bet that Black Flag will expand on that gameplay.
