Ubisoft integrates Twitch into "TrackMania²" and "Shootmania"

Twitch has become the go-to site for video game streaming and has garnered the attention of some major companies in the industry. Ubisoft has noticed the value of Twitch broadcasting for its players and has announced on March 13 the integration of Twitch to its “Trackmania 2” and “Shootmania” titles.

The partnership between Twitch and Ubisoft will allow players to stream their gameplay directly from their consoles. Anne Blondel-Jouin, Publishing Managing Director at Nadeo-Ubisoft commented, “The partnership with Twitch is a key step in Nadeo’s strategy to create a true ecosystem around eSports entertainment, making it attractive for gamers and spectators.”

To mark the occasion Ubisoft is holding an inaugural Mania Planet Video Contest. Videos from “ShootMania Storm”, “TrackMania² Canyon”, and “TrackMania² Stadium” can be submitted for a chance to earn $400 Amazon vouchers. As Twitch gets integrated into more and more popular games it gets hopes high for their future.
