Ubisoft confirms 'Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag', releases packshots (Photos)

On Feb. 28, Ubisoft confirmed they are working on “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag”. This comes two days after the leak of marketing materials, including a pirate themed Assassin’s Creed poster. Ubisoft has officially released the game’s packshots to the media for publication.

We are now able to confirm that we will have all the details on the new title on Monday, March 4 at 5pm GMT. In the meantime, you can take a look at the packshots in the slideshow. Accroding to these, the PlayStation 3 edition will have an hour of exclusive gameplay.

While there is no release date at this time, “Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag” will release for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC. Our guess is that it will either release late this year or early next year, and we are hoping to shed light on the price and release date when the information comes out on Monday.
