U2 gave a special moment to the fans on watching the 86th Annual Academy Awards. There were four performances during the program highlighting nominated songs for the program. For the U2 fans watching on Sunday night it was the performance of Ordinary Love from Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom that was delightful. Kicking off the stage by walking on stage, the segment started off soft, but it brought the audience to their feet by the end of the song as everyone so moved.

Sharing the moment with the world, the soft performance had everyone moved as it set the tone for the moment and the segment. With Bono really offering some amazing vocals, there was no doubt it was a live performance that was intensely rehearsed to be perfect. The emotion in the moment was felt not just in the theater but also at home.

While some fans wondered what to expect for the performance portions of the show, there was no disappointment when it came to the songs performed live at the Oscars. Each artist gave a strong segment that offered plenty to talk about. Even Pharrell Williams got the fans in the mood with his performance bring a different type of energy to the stage.
