Amy Winehouse‘s death has hit the music world hard. Even U2 took time to address her talent and her passing. The band was in Minneapolis on Saturday night and even with the poor weather they took a moment to acknowledge the singer. Taking to the microphone the band performed Stuck in a Moment.
Prior to singing the song, the lead singer Bono shared the song was written for INXS' late singer Michael Hutchence. Making the moment special, the band decided it would be dedicated to Amy Winehouse. With a roar coming from the crowd, the song began with an acoustic version of the beloved single.
While the official cause of death of Amy Winehouse. has yet to be determined, the world continues to mourn the loss of the talented singer. Making tributes and purchasing Winehouse’s songs, the fans have taken to remember Amy in many ways.
