The U.S. Women's Olympic Gymnastics Team was honored on Monday night during the Cartoon Network's Hall of Game Awards. With Olympians Jordyn Wieber, Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman and McKayla Maroney on stage the team accepted the We Got Game award.
The U.S. Women's Olympic gymnastics team was considered to be one of the best performers of the London Olympics with the team bringing home the gold along with several individual medals. While the team was not all present as Kyla Ross was not in attendance, the celebration seemed to be serious as several of the ladies seemed delighted for the honor.
Gabby Douglas was also honored individually for her efforts on the U.S. Women's Olympic Gymnastics Team and won the She Got Game Award as well. While far more subtle than her teammates, the gracious athlete was all about sharing the spotlight.
